Today Dave left for the field for a couple days. He'll be following up on a potential deal which was initiated by his trip to Dallas yesterday and "looking" at systems and pipe in the barren wasteland of west Texas. YUCK! This was a deviation from his plan a few days ago (he was supposed to travel to western Oklahoma to "look at" systems in his new territory) but potentially more profitable.
As much as I hate him being gone, I try my best to make this time special for the kids. We try to do things we don't do often, and I think it keeps us all sane. I (selfishly) always try to adjust their schedule to make them early risers, and this usually allows for an extra nap from Cade (and some extra rest time for mommy). This morning we made Valentines for the special ladies in our lives (grandmas and aunts) and Ady seemed to really enjoy it. Without giving too much away (the back is the most meaningful part)...
I haven't quite decided what else we will do today. Ady has a runny/nose cough and it is FREEZING outside, so that really limits our options. I could be up for some baking later on...
Right now however, Little Brother is on nap number one, Ady is watching a movie, mommy hasn't has any coffee, and the shower is sounding more appealing by the minute... I think I should take advantage of this break... so farewell until tomorrow. I'm sure we will have many stories to tell.
