After several months of discussion, we have decided that I will go back to school in the Fall. I have been wanting to go to nursing school since I had Cade, but decided I would finish my Bachelors first, since it was not nursing relate what-so-ever. I will begin my pre/co-requisites in July, and will be done just as Hunter is old enough to go to preschool. I'm super excited. Of course, I would love to work with babies or in labor and delivery, but I'm staying open minded. I think it's too early to know what I will really like or be good at. It's something I've been wanting to do for a long time (the first major I ever declared was nursing). I will spend a year getting my CNA (nurse assistant certification), and taking 12 hours of lower level sciences (anatomy, phisiology, and microbiology) and I will be able to apply for the program at TCC in the Spring for attendance next Fall. It's a 4 semester program, and then I can test for my RN.

I have been praying for the past year for God to reveal my gifts and talents, and show me how to prosper using them. We all know I'm really good at making babies, and although it's VERY rewarding being a mommy and raising godly children, it's just not quite enough for me (it's also getting quite expensive). Fortunately, a career in nursing will allow me the flexibility to be there for all the important moments in my childrens' lives, while being a major contributor to our family income.

So that's what's new with us. We always have something crazy going on around here. We like to keep everybody on their toes :)
