I will admit, I am a little sad to leave this place. Will I miss the drive to town? -- NO! Will I miss us constantly stepping on/over each other? -- NO! Will I miss the constant malfunction of every major thing in this house ?-- NO! However, I will miss the memories of our children in this house. This is where we brought BOTH boys home from the hospital. Cade learned to walk on these hardwood floors, and swam in the dirty mud hole in the driveway. Our backyard has an idyllic swing for the kids suspended between two shade trees. I will miss our wonderful neighbors, the Storts, whom our children have grown to know and love as part of our own family. I will miss being able to call Grammy over in the middle of the night, when one of this kids was sick and I wasn't sure what to do (I'm sure she won't miss those late night calls).

Our new house is symbolic of a new beginning for our family. We will be "cutting the umbilical cord" and venturing out completely on our own. We will get to discover our new surroundings together, and find new favorite places and activities. We will be further from family, but much closer to friends, and let's face it, closer to where we spend most of our time.

Our adventure is just beginning :)
