A New Chapter Has Begun

11:15 AM

This post has been a LONG time coming -- I apologize in advance for the delay...

Our biggest news: We moved and are finally settled into our new house!!!!
We LOOOOOVE it! I'm not sure what's better: having almost double the space, or our 5 min. drive to work. We are literally 3 min. from the Tulsa Hills shopping center (which I will admit, has been a little dangerous!). We are still getting acquainted with the area, but really like everything about it. Our neighbors are super nice, and I never want to live anywhere but on a golf course :) We are so much happier here. Everyone has their own space and everyone is sleeping through the night -- YAYYYYY!!!

Hunter is 14 weeks old today. He weighs about 11 lbs. and is getting back on track. He went to the doctor for a well check last week, and he is doing well. His cognitive development is great, but he's a little behind in motor development. We are working with him daily to improve that. By one year old, he will be caught up with others in his age group. He was so far behind that he still only ranks in the 2nd percentile for weight.

Ady Belle is loving summer time. She asks everyday to go swimming at Nana's or Grammy's. She's probably had the hardest time adjusting to the move, because we are just too far to do that on a daily basis. She has her princess "suite" all to herself upstairs, and I think it has been good for her to have a place of her own away from her little brothers. We bought school uniforms last week, and she is not very excited about the idea of wearing those everyday. I am less than excited about battling her about them.

Cade is LOVING his new space. He's our LOUD one, so it's been nice to be able to banish him to the game room when he starts up. He absolutely loves golf. He has his own set of clubs and is constantly working on his swing. At night we take him out to hit a few balls before dark, and he already has a great swing. My biggest struggle with him has been keeping the golf clubs outside. I can just see one going through Dave's TV---- AHHHH!!!

As for Dave and I... we are spending SOOOOOO much more time together. 20-30 more hours a week!!! Dave comes home for lunch everyday, and he's home an hour or two before I have to leave for work. He brings the kids up to work to visit often, and we have more time together after I get off as well. It's been so nice, but at the same time it's been an adjustment, because we really aren't used to spending any time together at all.

I have decided to push school back a semester in order to take this time to get everyone transitioned in our new home and schedule. August will be here soon, and we are going to have to make some HUGE adjustments when Ady starts school. It's going to be very interesting!

So that's what we've been up to in a nutshell. Life is great :)
