Spring is here!

Here's what is going on at The Hodges 5:

Hunter is ONE!!! He has eight teeth, and is working on two more. We are in the process of getting rid of bottles, and fully integrating table food. He's more ready than me :) He's not walking yet, but why would he walk when he has me to carry him everywhere? He takes one LONG 4+ hour nap a day, and is sleeping through the night.
Ady is playing her second season of soccer, and begins swim lessons next week. She is making big plans for her "Big 5" birthday in May. She is doing great in school, and is already looking forward to her change of school venue next year. She is so resilient.
We have been looking at Christian preschools for Cade, and have tours set up next week. He will be attending 2 days a week in the Fall. He also starts swim lessons next week. Like most two year olds, he is a busy, busy boy and is testing boundaries constantly. Luckily, this isn't my first rodeo. Boundaries. established. Gotta love him :)
Dave is traveling a lot and still loving the oil/natural gas biz. Not much goes on in his world this month... he's got "The Madness." He's been taking a lot of Fridays off to help me with soccer, kids, etc. So thankful for the help!
The 51st and Harvard Starbucks location is my new permanent work "home", and I have been so happy with the change! The customers are wonderful, and my staff is very hardworking. I have also been playing a lot of tennis and running again just for fun. I am anxiously looking forward to this summer. For us, this means a lot of swimming, family BBQ's, being outdoors, and long naps... just for the kids of course ;)

I wish I had more time for updates for our family that lives away. We are all very happy and healthy, and are enjoying this beautiful Spring weather! We send our love to you all!
